Presenter: Lori Kimball, CBA, NORPAC Foods, Inc., and Renee Ames, Credit Assistant, Morrow Equipment Co.

Prior to assuming the credit manager position in June 2003, Lori was Assistant Credit Manager, Collections Department Lead Collections Officer, and worked for the state of Oregon in collections. Lori is Past President of the Salem/Albany CFDD Chapter and has taught several classes in collections and credit management.

Renee Ames has been in the credit and collections field for more than 13 years. She started her career in banking with Wells Fargo Bank in Beaverton, Oregon. Throughout her career she has worked in several different industries such as broadcasting, manufacturing, and construction. Renee is now employed by Morrow Equipment Co., LLC in Salem, Oregon

President's Corner

Dear Members:

Thank you all for this opportunity to serve as your chapter President. Your support and encouragement over the years is greatly appreciated.

My theme for this year is “Teamwork – Working Together.”

Education and professionalism are our priorities in the upcoming year and teamwork will play a huge part with the 2008 Pacific Northwest Credit Conference taking place in Salem.

Now more than ever ,we will need to pull together as a chapter working with our friends at NACM to put on the best Pacific Northwest Credit Conference, while still maintaining a sense of normalcy at our regular chapter meetings.

I would encourage all of our members to attend the monthly chapter meetings and become involved in the conference planning. If you have any suggestions for upcoming meeting topics please feel free to contact Lori Kimball or myself.
